Tim Sure I would love to give you guys a review.

Being a devout board collector, 35 at my wife’s last count I have had many different forms of board mounts.

Of all I have found Mountit to be the most versatile, from horizontal to vertical and anything in between I always feel at ease if one of my pride and joy's is securely mounted with no risk of falling off the wall.

 My wife although putting her foot down at 6 of my collection being mounted around the house she does agree Mountit racks are non obtrusive and because of their unique design, very discreet, is very happy for me to use them in the house…

 Well done guys, a superior product that I recommend to all my board collecting peers for their versatility but above all the great service the team at Mountit provide, nothing is too much trouble.

What types of boards can MOUNTiT hold?
Surfboards, mini-malibus and longboards can be mounted as these will all fit into MOUNTiT’s gripping arm.

How many kilograms can MOUNTiT hold?
MOUNTiT will hold up to 10kg safely and securely.

Can it be used for different Surfboards?
There is no need for any adjustments. Just manoeuvre your board into the arm and allow the arm to drop and gripping that board.
Where can I attach my MOUNTiT?

Anywhere you want a surfboard to be stored or displayed! Garages, holiday homes, living rooms, bedrooms, outdoor areas, retail store etc.  If there is a flat wall- you can attach a MOUNTiT to it. All you need is the spaces on the wall to display your board.
How can I display my surfboard?
Check out the gallery page on the task bar. We are posted pictures all the time to help you get creative.

How long will it take my MOUNTiT  to arrive in the post?
As you may know, New Zealand is not the most central of locations to the rest of the world. So if you are in NZ or our closest neighbour Australia, you can expect your MOUNTiT to arrive within a week. For the rest of the world we have to rely on international postage systems, and they tell us to let you know that you should allow up to 10 to 15 days for your parcel to arrive.

Can we find MOUNTiT in stores?
As far as world wide domination is concerned- we have only just started. It certainly won’t be overnight, but we have aspirations for our product to be located in surf stores across the globe. For now, the best way to get your hands on one is to order it from our online shop.

Where does my MOUNTiT come from?

Straight from Wellington, New Zealand. The majority of production takes place in our workshop with our bare hands- and custom built machinery.
So can I just get back from the beach and mount the board?

Yes, Just one side of the board in contact with the rubber gripping arm should be wax free to ensure the secure grip.

Kiwi inventor and designer Tim Wood studied engineering and product design and comes from a family company background in the wool yarns industry. In 2002 Tim set out to develop and prove that this project was possible. He custom built a machine to wrap-form steel bars, creating a memory of it's holding shape and thus having the ability to hold and mount a surfboard flat to the wall. Designed for Short board's, Mini Malibu's and long board's with a maximum load for any surfboard up to 10kg.

MOUNTiT installation is simple, with only two screws need. Select a desired location of the height of the bracket in relation to the length of your board and allow space on either side to allow operation and angling of the board on the wall. Locate the middle of a timber stud to screw and fastening the bracket to the wall with the two variety screw holes on the hinging plate, for concrete or brick surface use a masonry drill. Mountit comes with plastic raw plugs for securing it.

To operate MOUNTiT all you do is lift the padded arms and place the board between the two arms, lowering the board until it is engaged. Play around with multiple display options and adjusted to the desired position.
