Kiwi inventor and designer Tim Wood studied engineering and product design and comes from a family company background in the wool yarns industry. His innovation are basted on the art forms of design with a purposes, using industrial methods to crafting and form his designs. In 2002 Tim set out to developed and prove that this project was possible. He custom built a machine to wrap-form steel bar creating a memory of it’s holding shape and thus having the ability to mount a board flat to the wall.

MOUNTiT innovative mounting unit holds the board up off the ground and out from the wall by a fines lenght, portraying the board from the wall, harnesses that viewing pleasure of the boards natural hydrodynamics and artwork as a real three dimensional seriously cool featured piece of art. Its multiple display features options of any combination of Variety up right , Diagonal, Up side down or Back to Front. Design for Short board’s, Mini Malibu’s and Longboard’s with a maximum load for any surfboard up to 10kg.
MOUNTiT installation is simple to any wall with only two screws need. Select a desired location of the height of the bracket in relation to the length of your board and allow space on either side to allow operation and angling of the board on the wall. Locate the middle of a timber stud to screw and fastening the bracket to the wall with the two variety screw holes on the hinging plate, for concrete or brick surface using a masonry drill with plastic raw plugs to securing in to.
To operate MOUNTiT all you do is lift the padded arms and place the board between the two, lowering the board until it is engaged. Play around with multiple display options and adjusted to the desired position.
